This pandemic has definitely allowed for plenty of self-reflection. The time at home gave me a chance to look in the mirror and examine which areas of my life needed improvement, and what life lessons have allowed me to slowly evolve into the best version of myself. Below is a list of 25 life tips that have resonated with me over time!

  1. Your diet is important—fried foods, alcohol, and sweets should be enjoyed in moderation. 

  2. Waking up early is the cheat code to life. 

  3. Know when to leave. The job, the relationship, the party.

  4. Podcasts are hidden gems. 

  5. Do things that scare you, often. 

  6. Showing up for yourself is half the battle. 

  7. Faith without works is dead. 

  8. Growth doesn’t come from comfort zones. 

  9. Everybody needs therapy. 

  10. Retail therapy should be covered by insurance. 

  11. It’s better to be kind, than nice. 

  12. No is a complete sentence. 

  13. Work smarter, not harder. 

  14. What people think of you is none of your business. 

  15. The hotel actually matters on vacations. 

  16. It’s okay to have high standards. 

  17. Always bet on yourself. 

  18. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. 

  19. Life is but a vapor. 

  20. It’s never too early to invest for your future—stocks, mutual funds, index funds, real estate, etc.
